School software that knows who is asking.

A parent, a class teacher, the office and the principal all sign in to ClassLane and get four different apps. Not four dashboards with things greyed out — four different sets of screens, decided by the job each person actually does.

No sign-up. The demo is the real permission model, not a slideshow.

13
roles, each with its own set of screens
8
modules a school turns on or off
41
reports, filtered and exportable
61
permissions, enforced in the database

Everything a school actually runs on.

Eight modules. Turn on the ones you use — a school with no buses never sees a transport menu.

group

Students

Admission through to leaving: the roll, family links, guardians, statutory fields, transfer certificates.

fact_check

Attendance

Day or period marking, parent-declared leave, and the registers nobody has taken yet, visible to the coordinator by 9:15.

receipt_long

Fees

Heads, categories and per-class prices; collection with receipts; late fees, waivers, concessions and refunds.

assessment

Exams & report cards

Grading schemes, marks entry, moderation, and report cards a family reads on the phone.

campaign

Circulars & consents

Pick an audience, send, and see who has read it. Consents come back as answers, not phone calls.

menu_book

Homework

Set it, and see how many families have opened it before the lesson.

grid_view

Timetable

Periods, rooms, teacher allocation, and cover arranged the morning somebody calls in sick.

directions_bus

Transport

Routes, stops and crews; children marked on and off; and a parent watching the bus approach their stop.

Built for the way Indian schools really work.

Most of what takes a school's time is not on a feature list. These are.

Try it as somebody.

The demo is generated from ClassLane's own permission tables, so what you see is what that role really gets — including what they cannot reach.

One price. Every module.

No per-module tiers, no charge for the parent app, no surprise at renewal. What you pay for is the number of children on the roll.

Introductory — first year
₹499₹299/ student / year

Billed annually. Plus GST. All eight modules, every role, and the parent app included from day one.

  • All modules — nothing held back for a higher tier
  • Unlimited staff and parent logins
  • Every branch of the same school
  • Setup, data import and training included
  • Your data, exportable whenever you ask

What it works out at

200 students₹59,800 / year
500 students₹1,49,500 / year
1,000 students₹2,99,000 / year

Larger schools and multi-branch groups: talk to us, the rate comes down with size.

Not billed separately

Setup fees, per-module charges, extra cost for the parent app, or a separate price for each branch. If we quote it, that is the price.

Why we built it.

School software usually gets access wrong in one of two ways. Either everyone sees everything and a class teacher can open the fee ledger, or roles are a menu that hides things while the data underneath stays reachable.

ClassLane starts from the job. Fifteen roles, sixty-one permissions, and every one of them checked in the database — so a screen a role should not have is not hidden, it is refused. The same rule applies whether the request comes from the app or from anywhere else.

It is built for Indian schools specifically: CBSE and state boards, the RTE quota and its reimbursement, confirmation fees at the turn of the year, transfer certificates, Aadhaar and statutory fields, and the block education office at the end of it all.
